APRIL 22nd... EARTH DAY!!!

Earth Day began on April 22nd 1970, and has been an important day ever since.  It's a day to reflect on our planet, our  environment and what we can do to help keep them healthy.

Let´s use this day to help our planet while we are at home,  staying safe with our families...

I have two proposals for you...

1) The first one...
-Talk to your family.

-Together, decide what you can do from home to help take care of our planet.  

-Once you have decided that, post a message here or send a photograph showing how you take care of this big house where we all live!


2) The second one...

3D Decoration:

Materials:
-paper
-scissors
-optional: crayons (or paint, markers, etc...)
 string, thread, ribbon or wool

Instructions

-Print template (attached here below) and colour it as you want.

-Cut out the template pieces (you can ask an adult to help you if you need it).

-Cut on one of the dotted line right up to the center.

-Fold the piece so it is coloured on both sides.  Stick together.

-Slide the pieces together, top to bottom.

-Glue a ribbon or thread onto the top (or hole punch a small hole and tie a ribbon through.

Now you can hang this outside your house, to show everybody you are taking care of our planet, you are now PLANET FRIENDLY!
